Phoenix

Hi! My name is Phoenix. I’m about 7 months old and weigh around 40 lbs — still growing and learning every day!

My siblings and I were found out in the country, and I spent the last few months growing up at the shelter. Now that I’m in a foster home, I’m loving it! I’m making great progress on all the important things — housetraining, building confidence, and sleeping quietly in my crate overnight (I’ve gotten really good at that!).

I’m still getting used to my new life and would love a patient person to help me keep exploring and adapting. I’m very sweet and love following my foster mom around. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats — though, between us, I’m actually a little afraid of the kitties.

I also love playing with my toys and showing off my softer, silly side — they help me feel happy and confident!

I haven’t spent much time around kids yet, so little ones might be a bit much for me. Older, dog-savvy kids who can go slow and give me space could be a nice fit.
