• Submit an Adoption Application. Please complete the application in its entirety as this will help us complete the review in a timely manner. Feel free to reach out to vet and personal references to let them know we will be contacting them.

• Wait to receive a confirmation email from our application system once your application is submitted. You may also receive a confirmation from our team that we are reviewing your application. Feel free to send an email to info@zivadogrescue.org to follow-up.

• Wait for us to be back in touch within 48 - 72 hours via email or text regarding the status of your application. NOTE: Please check your SPAM.

• Participate in a phone interview with an Adoption Coordinator to discuss your search and our dogs.

• Collaborate with our team to take the next steps to find the right match!

Ziva Dog Rescue runs on adoption fees and donations only. Adoption fees are a necessity for any animal rescue and shelter. These fees help us continue to save more dogs and provide appropriate vetting and care as we prepare them for their new home.

• Puppies under 6 months: $550

• Dogs 6+ months: $450

Our adoption fee helps us provide our dogs with the following veterinary care appropriate to their age. The fee also assists us in providing food, collars, toys, crates and other supplies that are necessities for our dogs.

• spay/neuter;

• age-appropriate vaccinations including Distemper, Bordetella & Rabies

• Heartworm test for dogs 6+ months

• Fecal checks

• Monthly preventatives (heartworm, flea/tick)

• Microchip

• Dewormers & other medications, treatments determined by the rescue & rescue vet.
