Alfie

My name is Alfie! I am a 1 year old, 17 lb Shih Tzu. My past has not been a good one but because of wonderful people, I made it out of a nightmare and adjusting quickly to a new and comfy life in my foster home. I have proven to be incredibly resilient and just after a couple of weeks I have shown my playful and affectionate side! I am great with other dogs and good with people. I have discovered toys and I do certainly enjoy them! I have been friendly with new people I have met in my short journey so far. I can be on the shyer side with men at first but adjust with gentle and slow intros. If you let me go at my pace, I will figure it out. I would do well in a home with other dogs and a patient family. I could also live as an only dog as long as my humans are around a lot of the time. Kids 10+ preferred please. I am untested with cats. I am pad trained so far but also learning the outdoor method!
