Ava

My name is Ava! I just want to tell you how much fun I have had since I landed my fabulous foster in Pennsylvania with ZDR. I have proved to be a family friendly, adventurous, loving, smart young girl. I can't wait until I meet my new people and show them how great I am.

First, I am 38 lbs and just about 7 months. My final weight? Probably 50 to 60 lbs tops. I look a Treeing Walker Coonhound/Pointer and maybe even some Brittany. I am stunning!

Some of my adventures have included, going to the beach, meeting farm animals, riding in the car, having a pup cup, meeting people out and about and of course, playing with my dog friends. I love dogs and would love another playful dog in my forever home! I am also good with cats. I am curious but respectful. I have to admit... the cat always wins. I love kids but we think 8+ is good for me. Sometimes I don't know my size and I am a big puppy. I have learned multiple commands, I am housebroken and while I don't LOVE the crate, I am working SO hard to be patient with it.

My ideal family would have a fenced in yard, like to take fun walks and hikes and perhaps a canine buddy for me to pal around with. But, most importantly, my family should be open to an attentive and affectionate dog; I want to be near my people, I love to cuddle and if you let me, I will gladly sit right on your lap.
