Carter

My name is Carter. I am about 5 years old and 60 lbs. I am a stunning mix of Malinois and Husky. I am smart, sharp, dignified, well-behaved and utterly loyal. I am very human focused and oriented towards making my humans happy. I love to stay close to my pack (humans and dogs alike). I would love to have company most of the time but can be left alone without an issue. I am housebroken; I do not have much crating experience and would prefer to be loose. I most likely didn't have the most encouraging past. I can get a little timid around raised voices or really loud noises so a home with kids 12+ would probably make me the most comfortable. I am a people pleaser - I want to do the right thing, but I might need a little direction in the process. I do take a moment to warm up to dogs in the home but I certainly do and once we are buddies, I enjoy their company. I would also be perfectly fine as an only dog. I need my daily walks and exercise and would like to be someone's active partner in crime.
