Cashew

My name is Cashew. I was not always in the right place to meet my basic needs. My very short past was a bit rough. I am in New England now and could not be happier. I was underweight but now I am eating as much as my little heart desires!

I am about 5 months old! I weigh about 18 pounds, ZDR doesn't think I'll get much bigger than 40 pounds when full grown.
They are saying I could be a Hound/Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd/Terrier mix of some sort! The DNA might sayI have a bunch of different things in me. Whatever I am - my foster mom keeps telling me I am ADORABLE!

I'm learning all things dog in my new foster home! I am housebroken, and will go in the crate but I'm not crazy about it, and I don't like to spend a lot of time in there. My foster family is teaching me that it's ok, and with a little help - I will be ok with it if you need me to be. My foster mom says I am super calm and non destructive in the house (which she loves).
I absolutely LOVE attention! I like other dogs, including the resident dog, but gravitate more towards my humans - including the kids (boy they really love me). I haven't been around any cats, but I don't think I would bother with them. I am perfectly happy to snuggle with my people.

I am currently taking applications for a sidekick, BFF, ride or die kind of soulmate! I'll go anywhere with my new family, as long as you keep loving on me! I am located in CT.
