My name is Copper. I am 14 years old and 50 lbs. I am currently Ziva's golden boy and truly something special. I am a gentleman who found myself as a stray and ultimately ended up in the shelter system. I was uncomfortable and struggling, yet remained incredibly friendly, easygoing, and mild-mannered. Thanks to some wonderful people down in Georgia, I got my freedom flight and a front-row seat to CT. Now, I am enjoying the sublime comfort of soft beds and cozy blankets, along with short, gentle hikes and the companionship of other dogs.

We know that not everyone wants a 14 year old dog; I get it! But, if you are a person who loves the seniors and yearns to spoil a dog like me; I will happily consider you and give you so much in return. The vet said I am a healthy dog for my age. I do not appear to be in pain or any distress. I have an old injury to a leg which does not bother me and my joints seem to be doing okay. Yes, I can still do stairs! I need comfy beds, some nice strolls, yummy meals and a warm body to snuggle with and get pets. I am great with everything - cats nor dogs bother me. I'm just so happy to be where I am... finally.
