Hope

My name is Hope. I am an 8 lb, 10 month old Chihuahua mix. As you can see (even from these pictures) I had a rough start. When I was picked up, I was suffering from a severe case of mange. I was uncomfortable, tender, itchy and I was yearning for relief. Wonderful people came to my aid and started fixing me! 6 weeks later, I am feeling and looking more like myself. These pictures are current. My hair is coming in nicely and in just a matter of a couple of weeks, I will be fully covered. I am certainly feeling like myself (a fun, social, playful young lady). I am finally taking applications. I am a catch. I am great with other dogs but my love is for my people. I would do well as an only so I don't have to have any competition for attention, pets and my favorite, laps. However, a nice playmate would be okay too! I am pad trained and can learn the crate as needed. Right now, I am safe in a gated off area when my humans are out. I would love to go on little walks and accompany you to as many places as you can take me. (The list should be long, I am pretty small.). I have not been around young children quite yet.
